| We believe
in non-violence and global camaraderie. We believe in
making other people happy because we know that when
we help others to be happy, our own happiness is guaranteed.
And so, we want to make people happy by serving them
delicious food but at the same time promote global fraternity
and camaraderie through culinary means.
We believe that other beings in this planet should
not be hurt for--butchered, that's out of question!!--for
selfish human reasons. That's why we serve only vegetarian
food--and are actually very particular about avoiding
anything non-veg--in our restaurant. But we also believe
that vegetarian food can be as delicious and as nutritious
as non-vegetarian food.
We don't believe in hierarchy and profiteering. While
we have division of tasks and responsibilities at
Veggie Mamas, we don't have hierarchy--we are all
equal and we are friends. And while we need profit
for livelihood and for supporting Slisha home, we
are not driven by purely profit motive. |
