fund raising for development activities and entrepreneurship.

Veggie Mamas was started in 2007 as a stall at Teej
Festival held in United World Trade Center, Kathmandu,
Nepal. It was the first time that some of us friends
got together to try our hands at business after decades
of development aid work. It was surprisingly our turn
to be empowered. Veggie Mamas today is a modest restaurant
providing quality dining experience with the added
value of profits going towards empowering marginalized
children and women.
